This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("Licensee") and Paul de Quant and Jon Roberts ("Licensor", "we", "us") for the use of the Pulse for Umbraco software package ("Pulse"). By purchasing a license or installing Pulse, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
Licensee acknowledges that this is a nonexclusive license. The Licensor is the owner of all titles, rights, and interests in Pulse for Umbraco. This software is licensed, not sold.
Licensee may not sell, redistribute, sublicense, or package Pulse for Umbraco for sale. Licensee may not decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble Pulse in whole or in part, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
Provided that you have accepted the terms contained herein, this EULA grants you the following rights based on the license tier purchased:
You are granted a license to use Pulse for Umbraco for a single production domain and any configured development and staging environments (e.g. localhost, *.local, *.test, *.dev, *.staging). The license is bound to one Umbraco instance via a filesystem fingerprint.
You are granted a license to use Pulse for Umbraco on a single Umbraco instance with unlimited production domains. The license includes full wildcard subdomain support for the registered primary backoffice domain, and permits all development, staging, and cloud environments (including *.azurewebsites.net and *.umbraco.io). Load balancing and auto-scaling are permitted.
You are granted a license to install and use Pulse for Umbraco on unlimited Umbraco instances with unlimited production domains within the subscribing organisation (legal entity). The Enterprise license is an annual subscription; continued use requires an active subscription.
Pulse may be installed and used without a license key under the free tier, subject to the feature limitations described in the documentation. The free tier is limited to the topmost root content node. No license key is required for local development or evaluation.
All license tiers include 12 months of updates and email support from the date of purchase. After the update entitlement expires:
Pulse periodically contacts pulseforumbraco.com to verify license validity. This verification transmits only the email address and issued-at timestamp from your license key. Licensee agrees not to block, intercept, or tamper with this verification mechanism.
If Pulse does not meet your needs, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting support@pulseforumbraco.com. Upon refund, your license will be revoked and you must cease using the software on production domains.
Pulse for Umbraco includes or depends on the following third-party components, each licensed separately:

Pulse for Umbraco is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The Licensor does not warrant that the software will meet the Licensee's requirements, be error-free, or operate without interruption.
In no event shall the Licensor be liable for any data loss, damages, loss of profits, business interruption, or any other kind of loss arising from the use or misuse of this software. The Licensee uses Pulse for Umbraco at their own risk. The Licensor's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Licensee for the license.
This EULA is effective until terminated. We may terminate your license immediately if you breach any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of Pulse on production domains and destroy any copies in your possession. Sections 1, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
