Privacy Policy

Pulse for Umbraco ("Pulse", "we", "us") is an Umbraco backoffice package developed by Paul de Quant and Jon Roberts. This policy explains what data Pulse collects, why, and how we protect it.

1

Data Collected by the NuGet Package

The Pulse package installed in your Umbraco site operates entirely within your own infrastructure. Scan results, health scores, suppressions, assignments, and configuration are stored locally in your Umbraco database (SQL Server or SQLite).

The package makes one outbound network call:

License verification — a periodic HTTPS request to pulseforumbraco.com/api/license/verify that sends only the email address and issued-at timestamp from your license key. No site content, scan results, configuration data, or personally identifiable information about your site's visitors is ever transmitted.
2

Data Collected by This Website

When you purchase a license on pulseforumbraco.com, we collect:

Email address — to deliver your license key and transactional emails (purchase confirmation, renewal reminders).
Domain name(s) — the production domain(s) you register for your license.
Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers, CVVs, or billing addresses on our servers.
3

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics (Google tag G-MH776EMBY0) to collect anonymised usage statistics such as page views, referrers, and device type. Google Analytics uses cookies — see Google's Privacy Policy for details. The Pulse NuGet package does not include any analytics or tracking.

4

How We Use Your Data

To send transactional emails (license delivery, renewal reminders, refund confirmations).
