FAQ

What Umbraco versions are supported?
Pulse requires Umbraco 17 or later running on .NET 10+. It supports SQL Server and SQLite databases.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
Standard and Professional are one-time purchases with a perpetual license. Enterprise is an annual subscription for agencies who want unlimited instances and domains. All plans include 12 months of updates and support.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes, Pulse for Umbraco offers 15 rules so you can see how it works before purchasing.
How does the license work?
After purchase, you'll receive a license key via email. Add it to your appsettings.json to activate. Standard covers 1 production domain, Professional covers unlimited domains on a single Umbraco instance, and Enterprise is unlimited across all instances and domains. Localhost and dev/staging domains (.local, .test, .dev, .staging) are always allowed.
What is the Professional plan best for?
If you run a multi-tenant Umbraco installation — for example, a franchise with dozens of local domains on a single Umbraco instance — the Professional license covers all of those domains with a single key.
Does Pulse affect my site's performance?
Scans are lightweight and batched. The configurable batch size and scan scheduling ensure minimal impact on your production environment.
What are custom scans and presets?
Custom scans let you pick specific rules and run a targeted scan without affecting your persisted score or triggering notifications. You can save named presets to repeat the same rule selection later.
Can I export scan results?
Yes. Download a full scan report as a CSV file from the dashboard — perfect for sharing with your team, attaching to project reports, or archiving for compliance.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Your payment is processed securely — we never see your card details.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If Pulse doesn't meet your needs, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
